Whilst researching flip books recently, I came across this clever idea by Japanese art director and copywriter Masashi Kawamura, Rainbow in your hand. Each of the 36 pages contain nothing more than 5 little coloured squares on a black background, but when flipped a rainbow appears.
I also found a great site, www.flipclips.com, that will turn your video footage into a flip book. Oh, the fun to be had!
